"Equipping Christ followers to take the Gospel to the Nations"
ASM 2015 Uganda Ministry Outreach
Angus Buchan has been quoted as saying, “When men work, they work; when men pray, God works.”
And how He did just that when the ASM students went on their annual missions trip to Uganda in late June.
The four months of preparation in planning, preparing and prayer resulted in expansion of God’s kingdom in several ways. To find out more, see below!

Jo'burg-Nairobi-Entebbe-Tororo and back again!
A time for prayers, crusades, ministry, loving people, being with new friends in Uganda.

The students visited :
1) a bible school where Ugandan youth are being trained to take the Good News to Muslim countries closed to Westerners
2) a prayer centre that operates 24/7, where the students led worship and prayer for unreached nations
3) an orphanage where they played with Kingdom kids
4) a farm which serves a local community where they did some painting of a new building
5) and a prison where they gave testimonies and short messages to encourage the believers there.

The results of those months of preparation and prayer
resulted in approximately 200 people receiving salvation and almost 30 new believers
being baptized on a Sunday afternoon in a nearby river.
Glory, honour, and praise to Jesus Christ who came to seek and to save the lost!
We witnessed first-hand the reality that the harvest IS plentiful,
and our students were impacted profoundly from what they witnessed and experienced.
They are better equipped to be ministers of the Gospel.
And ASM has once more succeeded in its mandate of
"Equipping Christ followers to take the Gospel to the Nations "
by developing leaders, focussing on the head, heart and hands,
empowering people to serve innovatively and creatively,
and partnering with the local church and global networks.
