ASM has many ways for you to donate your time and expertise. Let us know if you can help with any of the following:

 

Gardening

 

Would you like to help enhance our gardens? Anything from mowing grass to the planting of your donated (approved) plants is appreciated! Call us if you have a group of adults, students, or service group that would like to donate their time and skills.

 

We would appreciate if you can donate:

 

• A lawn mower, brush cutter, or garden tools

• “Still nice” garden furniture

• We are always in need of petrol and oil for our mowers and would appreciate a monthly donation for maintenance

 

Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP)

 

From time to time ASM needs a person with a valid Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP) to assist with transportation both locally and to Johannesburg. If you have a PDP license and are available, please send your name and telephone number and we will put you on the list.

 

General Maintenance

 

Painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical assistance are always welcome! A number of cottages can be adopted for (approved) upgrading at volunteers’ cost.

 

Medical Care

 

Nurses who are skilled in assessing and managing health problems, and doctors could do short term outreaches in the ASM Clinics. 

 

Special Projects
